戏窝子广场是古镇的文化交流中心，长期开展川剧表演、川剧培训等活动。1956年，海窝子成立围鼓社，由乡政府补助经费购置服装、道具，自编自演川剧剧目，吸引众多当地群众观看和参与。自1978年至今，海窝子坚持逢“4和9”开展川剧坐唱，并于2010、2017年分别成立“海窝子鱼凫剧社”、“海窝子戏歌社”。 Xiwozi Square is the cultural exchange center of the ancient town, where Sichuan Opera performances, training and other activities are often carried out here. 古戏台（福兴楼）是5.12地震后在原北宋戏台地基上原址复建，是海窝子唯一保留完好的古戏台，川班、陕班等江湖戏班子曾是这里的常客，玩友会、木偶、皮灯影、话剧团、舞术团等也时常在此表演。 Ancient Stage (Fuxing Building) was rebuilt on the original foundation of the stage in the Northern Song Dynasty after the Wenchuan Earthquake on May 12, 2008. It is the only well preserved ancient stage in Haiwozi. Sichuan troupes, Shaanxi troupes and other itinerant troupes used to be regular guests here, and playgroups, puppets, leather lanterns, drama troupes, dance troupes and others often performed here.
阳友鹤是四川彭州濛阳人，是著名的川剧表演艺术家、戏曲教育家，被誉为“川剧旦角艺术一代宗师”和“川剧的梅兰芳”，培养了陈书舫、许倩雲等一代代艺术名家，对川剧及我国戏曲表演艺术做出了杰出贡献。阳友鹤纪念馆建筑面积约450余平方米，主要展出了阳友鹤先生生平字画、手稿、书信、影片等珍贵史料及实物。

据《华阳国志》记载：“蜀王鱼凫，田于湔山，建都瞿上。”广场因此得名。古蜀时期，祭祀是一种特有的文化，为纪念蜀王鱼凫在海窝子的功绩，广场上方矗立鱼凫王雕像，中央设置古蜀祭祀活动浮雕，生动展现古蜀独特的祭祀文化。
According to the Records of Huayang State, "Yu Fu, the emperor of Shu, cultivated his farms in Jianshan Mountain and established his capital in Qushang." The square thus got its name. In the ancient Shu period, sacrifice was a unique culture. In order to commemorate the achievements of Yu Fu at Haiwozi, his statue stood on the square, and a relief sculpture of the ancient Shu sacrificial activities was set in the center, vividly demonstrating the unique sacrificial culture of ancient Shu.
赵连武宅原为当地开明绅士赵连武的宅第，始建于民国初年，建筑面积270平方米，以欧式风格建造。2016年列入“成都市第五批历史建筑保护名录”。

据说，海眼是湔江水域中最深的漩涡所在地。相传，古蜀鱼凫王时期，一只凶兽从海眼冒了出来，所到之处生灵涂炭，古蜀王带领海窝子民众制服了水怪，将其永远封于此地，保一方平安。故取名海眼广场。
It is said that Haiyan Square is the deepest vortex in Jianjiang River. It is said that during the reign of Yu Fu of ancient Shu, a fierce beast emerged from the sea eye and no creature survived on his way forward. The emperor led the people at Haiwozi to defeat the water monster and seal it here forever to guard Haiwozi. Therefore, it is named Haiyan Square.
湔江画院集阅读、书法、绘画功能于一身，集艺术民宿和美术馆为一体。湔江画院陈列了著名油画家张昌贵先生众多油画作品，设有油画工作室、国画工作室及书法创作室，长期举办中外艺术家美术作品展览。
